Description

Measures cholinesterase enzyme levels, important for the breakdown of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter. Used to diagnose liver function, pesticide exposure, and certain genetic disorders. Low levels may indicate liver disease or exposure to organophosphate insecticides.
