Key Takeaways

Not all vaccines are the same, that's why it is important to plan accordingly if you intend to travel and check regularly with your doctor that your vaccinations are up to date.

Here is a quick summary:
  • Multi-dose vaccine, plan ahead: Hep A/B, Dengue, HPV and Japanese Encephalitis
  • Single-dose: Yellow Fever, Flu, Pneumovax
  • Boosters: Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis

Not sure what vaccination you need?

No problem at all. That's why our doctors are here for. Book a consultation with them and they will help you plan your vaccinations if you need any. They can also prescribe a blood test to check your immunity and see if you need a booster.

After your consultation, you will be given a vaccination booklet where all your vaccinations will be recorded for future reference and planning.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

All vaccines undergo rigorous testing and are approved by health authorities before use. While minor side effects like soreness or mild fever may occur, these are signs your immune system is responding – not that you’re infected. Serious reactions are extremely rare (less than 1 in a million doses).

  • Primary series: Some vaccines (like Hepatitis B) need 2-3 doses to build strong immunity.
  • Boosters: Others (like DTP) require periodic updates as protection fades over time.
  • Virus types: Live vaccines (e.g., MMR) often provide lifelong immunity after 1-2 doses, while inactivated vaccines (e.g., Rabies) may need more doses.

Don’t restart the series! We’ll simply continue where you left off, even if it’s been months or years. Protection may take longer to develop, but the vaccines remain effective.

  • Last-minute trips: Get any mandatory vaccines (like Yellow Fever) at least 10 days before.
  • Ideal timeline: Start 4-6 weeks early for multi-dose vaccines (e.g., Japanese Encephalitis, Hepatitis B).
  • Same-day options: Flu, Pneumococcal, and routine boosters can often be given immediately.

No worries! We can:

  • Check your records (bring any old documents or school/employment health files).
  • Run antibody tests (for some vaccines like Hep B or Chickenpox) to confirm immunity.
  • Follow safe protocols: If unsure, we may recommend revaccination (harmless if already immune).

We offer many more vaccines than those shown! If you’re looking for something specific (e.g., Rabies, MMR, or Chickenpox), contact us—we can check availability or special-order it for you. Some vaccines may require 1-2 weeks’ notice.

Yes! We issue a Vaccination certificate so you can keep track of everything.
