For decades, cardiovascular risk was assessed almost entirely by total cholesterol and LDL. We now know this misses a substantial proportion of the people who will go on to have heart attacks. Advanced biomarkers tell a richer story.
Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) counts the actual number of atherogenic particles in the bloodstream — each one capable of lodging in an arterial wall. Two people can have identical LDL-C levels, but vastly different ApoB counts and therefore vastly different actual risk. ApoB is available from Program 3 onward.
Lipoprotein(a) — or Lp(a) — is a genetically determined risk factor that elevates coronary artery disease risk independently of any other marker. It is not modifiable by statins. It is also never tested in a routine blood panel. Knowing your Lp(a) level changes clinical management. It is available from Program 4.
High-sensitivity CRP (hs-CRP) is a marker of systemic inflammation — a key driver of plaque instability. A normal LDL with an elevated hs-CRP is a known risk combination that is missed by standard panels. Available from Program 4.
CT Calcium Scoring assigns a quantitative score to calcified plaque in the coronary arteries — the clearest direct measure of subclinical atherosclerosis we have. A score above 100 doubles the risk guidance; above 400 it changes treatment protocol entirely. Available by recommendation from Program 4.
Counts atherogenic particles directly — more predictive of cardiovascular risk than LDL-C alone. Essential for people with metabolic syndrome or diabetes.

If you are under 40 with no known risk factors and no family history of heart disease, NEO Cardio 1 (Plus) is the right entry point — it covers all core metabolic and cardiac labs with a free 30-day follow-up. From 40 onward, or if you have any of the risk factors listed — diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, smoking history, obesity — NEO Cardio 2 (Advanced) is the recommended minimum, as it adds the advanced biomarkers and CT Calcium Scoring that matter most for intermediate-to-high risk profiles. If you have multiple risk factors or a family history of early heart attack, your doctor may guide you directly to NEO Cardio 3 (Executive).
Yes. A 10–12 hour overnight fast is required before your appointment because accurate fasting blood sugar and lipid panel results depend on it. Water is allowed. Medications can be taken as normal unless your doctor advises otherwise. Please inform our team if you are diabetic before fasting, so we can time your appointment to minimise discomfort.
Program 1 typically takes 90–120 minutes including consultation, blood draw, and ECG. Programs 2–3 add urine collection and run approximately 2–2.5 hours. Programs 4 and 5 depend on which imaging tests are included — allow 3–4 hours for a full Program 4 visit with CT calcium scoring, and a half-day for Program 5 with echocardiography and stress testing.
Standard lab results are available within 24–48 hours. CT calcium scoring results are typically ready within 2–3 days. Echocardiography and stress test results are reviewed by a cardiologist and included in your written health report, which is delivered within 5–7 business days. Your 30-day follow-up appointment is then scheduled to go through the report in detail.
R means "recommended" — it is part of the standard protocol for that program tier and will be performed for all patients unless contraindicated. D means "at doctor's discretion" — the physician will assess your clinical picture on the day and determine whether the test is appropriate and safe for you. If a test carries contrast media (CTA coronary artery), kidney function is checked first.
Your physician will contact you directly if a result requires urgent attention before your follow-up appointment. For findings that are abnormal but not urgent, everything is covered in detail at the 30-day follow-up. From Program 3 onward, if a specialist referral is clinically indicated, our team handles the coordination — including identifying the right type of specialist and providing your report to them in advance.
NEO Cardio programs are specifically designed around cardiovascular risk — they are not general health screenings. They include the cardiac-relevant components of an annual physical (blood tests, blood pressure, doctor consultation) plus significantly more cardiac-specific content. Many patients use a NEO Cardio program in place of their standard check-up; for broader screening covering oncology markers or general wellness, a combined approach may be recommended.

You are entitled to cancel Your Order for Packages as per the following terms:
3.1 If you cancel an Order before 4 PM (GMT+7) the next day after making the payment, you can receive an 80% refund. For example, if you want to cancel your reservation, for example, after making it on March 25th, 2022 at 10 AM; You may do so and receive an 80% refund if you notify the company before 4:00 PM on March 26th, 2022.
3.2 If you cancel an Order before 4 PM (GMT+7) one day before the appointment date, you will receive a 50% refund. For example, if you scheduled a lab test for March 29th at 10 AM, you may cancel and receive a 50 percent refund if you notify the laboratory by 4 PM on March 28th, 2022.
3.3 The refund is not allowed if you cancel the order after 4 PM (GMT+7) one day before the appointment date.
3.4 In case the refund request time is both before 4 PM (GMT+7) the next day after making the payment and before 4 PM (GMT+7) one day before the appointment date, the condition for the latter will be applicable.
3.5 If You request a Full Refund and submit a medical certificate certifying that the Package is not fit for You due to an unforeseen medical condition, the Company can give You a complete refund.
3.6 If our partner shop, clinic, or hospital is unable to provide Packages to customers who have paid for them, the Company can give a full refund.
3.7 We cannot return payments made directly to our partner service. If you are dissatisfied with the service provided by our partners, please contact us at [email protected] with a statement of your issue. We will escalate the complaint to the provider in an attempt to address the problem and take necessary actions.
Take note that the Company will request for cancellation reasons or other causes so we may improve our service.
The deadline for canceling an Order for Goods is 7 days after you receive the product or at which a third party you have designated, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods delivered.
